I am at the brink of hoping to go and do something new something that I have never done before
something that I am hoping
will lead me to better myself.
I am hoping to find something to complete myself.
I am so close to reaching for it,
to taking that final step that I can taste it
I can also taste the fear that threatens to make me gag.
It is in my throat,
thick and large
like a pulse
made solid.
I am fearful
but I am hopeful.
